KW Cares is a public charity created to support Keller Williams associates and their families with hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. The organization defines hardship as difficult circumstance that a person or family cannot handle without outside help. It was brought to fruition by Mo Anderson, the vice chairman of Keller Williams Realty, who took the original idea and made it a reality by turning it into a public charity. In 2017 alone, KW Cares awarded 716 grants, which totaled $4,423,775 for KW family members in 29 of the 33 regions. It has also helped to provide pressing disaster relief in Texas, Florida, California, and Puerto Rico.
